A piece of my heart. Take it.

A day cram-packed with meetings and imparting of convictions. However as much as I gave, I was too gifted a valuable principle from a person that I never expected to.

While in midst a intensive discussion with Junlin, my sister passed by KFC and greeted us cheerfully with one of her friend. Not long after she left I recieved a call, pleading me to look for her hairband she might have left it unattended while a visit to the washroom earlier. As ignorant as I am, shrugged my shoulders and treated it as a passing comment. Soon after, I totally forgotten about the it, and the second time she called.

Truth is, I was fuming with irritation. Therefore decided to take delibrate efforts to search for it; out of obligation. However, guess what? I left that decision in the coffee shop after shepherding and went for basketball. What a brother I am? Then finally, for the third time she called as I make my way down the hardcourt. Frustrated and on the verge of tears on the phone, she asked me once again: "Got anot?"

At that very moment, I understood her heart. It was not just simply a hairband to her. It was the significance and value behind she looked at. It may be just another hairband to me, but to her was a big five bucks she saved up; deemed precious to her.

It honestly strucked me as I take a glimpse back to the entire episode. All she wanted was to convince me; what matters to her, to matter to me in the same way. Question is, wasn't I doing the same all along when I said this powerful 8 letter words: OUTREACH?

In all desperation, have I made the third call?
